Ladybirds
This week in Ladybirds we have made some gorgeous Easter eggs with colourful tissue paper, got stuck into some pasta and lentil sensory play, had loads of fun playing in the garden and enjoyed exploring the big garden. Our music lady Jo visited us this week too and the babies just loved the music session.
Next week our theme of the week will be pretty pastel colours. We will being getting creative with lots of pastel painting as well as spending plenty of time exploring the garden.
Butterflies
This week in Butterflies we have been enjoying Easter and spring activities. We have also been enjoying exploring textures through a variety of sensory play.
Next week we will be continuing with the theme of Spring and enjoying the garden, despite the rain forecast! Have a lovely Easter…
Bumblebees
This week in Bumblebees we have been involved in lots of activities for our “Spring Has Sprung” board. The little ones have also been doing some cooking making yummy cheese scones and treaty rice crispie cakes, as well as creating fabulous Easter cards.
Next week we will be getting stuck into and exploring lots of maths and number related activities for our new maths board.
Dragonflies
The letter of the week was T and number was 3. The colour was yellow and the shape was a pentagon.
This week we have been having loads of fun with our Easter activities. We cooked some delicious choco nests, made some awesome bunny ears and even went on an egg hunt. Well done and thank you for all the effort on the Easter bonnets for the competition, they were amazing!
Next week we will keep the Easter theme and have loads of half term fun. Have a great Easter weekend…
Ladybirds
This week in Ladybirds our theme of the week has been pring animals. We have loved making foot print bumblebees, butterfly hand prints and cotton wool sheep. We have also made a Spring into Spring display (please come take a look!) and we’ve also had lots of fun and fresh air in the garden (enjoying the warmer weather this week!)
Next week our theme will be Easter! We are planning on making some lovely Easter cards, painting Easter eggs and lots more festive Easter fun!
Butterflies
This week in Butterflies we have been painting with many different resources: rolling pins, cars, balls and fork painting to name a few! We have also been making the most of the sunshine and getting plenty of time outside in the garden exploring the equipment and the garden area.
Next week we are excited to begin our Easter activities, making cards and decorating Easter eggs!
Bumblebees
We have been very busy doing lots of art and craft activities this week, getting prepared for a lovely Easter and Spring display.
Next week we will be making some Easter cards and getting stuck into some fun and new activities in the garden (perfect as the weather is getting warmer).
Dragonflies
Over the last couple of weeks we have had loads going on in the delightful Dragonflies room! We celebrated St Patricks Day with our lovely 3 leaf clovers and wiggled away Friday for Sports Relief! We are now getting into the Easter swing of things, getting stuck in to lots of amazing Easter crafts.
Next week we are really looking forward to our Easter bonnet parade, getting creative in the kitchen and possibly even a visit from the Easter Bunny…
