Ladybirds
This week in Ladybirds we have made some gorgeous Easter eggs with colourful tissue paper, got stuck into some pasta and lentil sensory play, had loads of fun playing in the garden and enjoyed exploring the big garden. Our music lady Jo visited us this week too and the babies just loved the music session.
Next week our theme of the week will be pretty pastel colours. We will being getting creative with lots of pastel painting as well as spending plenty of time exploring the garden.
Butterflies
This week in Butterflies we have been enjoying Easter and spring activities. We have also been enjoying exploring textures through a variety of sensory play.
Next week we will be continuing with the theme of Spring and enjoying the garden, despite the rain forecast! Have a lovely Easter…
Bumblebees
This week in Bumblebees we have been involved in lots of activities for our “Spring Has Sprung” board. The little ones have also been doing some cooking making yummy cheese scones and treaty rice crispie cakes, as well as creating fabulous Easter cards.
Next week we will be getting stuck into and exploring lots of maths and number related activities for our new maths board.
Dragonflies
The letter of the week was T and number was 3. The colour was yellow and the shape was a pentagon.
This week we have been having loads of fun with our Easter activities. We cooked some delicious choco nests, made some awesome bunny ears and even went on an egg hunt. Well done and thank you for all the effort on the Easter bonnets for the competition, they were amazing!
Next week we will keep the Easter theme and have loads of half term fun. Have a great Easter weekend…
