Ladybirds
In ladybirds this week, we have been looking at the book “Handa’s Suprise” and exploring food from around the world. We have enjoyed the texture of noodle play and have even been making our own samosas. Next week is transport week and we have lots of fun activities planned including textured track tuff trays.
This week in butterflies we have been exploring colours. From mixing our own paint to colour matching teddy bears. We have been making lots of colourful pictures for the children to to take home with them. Next week we are going to be looking at animals, exploring different tuff trays and looking through different animal books.
Bumblebees
This week in bumblebees we have been exploring under the sea world. We have been looking at what animals live in the water and how they live. The children have enjoyed drawing their sea animals and taking these pictures home. We have spent a lot of time in the garden playing with the balls and learning new ring games.
Dragonflies

This week in dragonflies we have continued to explore our senses in science. We have looked at our sense of touch, doing experiments with ice, warm and cold water, and looking at how our fingertips felt after being immersed in each one. The children are very curious and active in their involvement. We have continued to enjoy playing in the garden with our new garden resources.
