Ladybirds
This week has been a bright and beautiful one as we have had lots of fun with our theme of colours! We’ve made rainbow collages among lots of other wonderful colourful creations!
Next week we will be exploring nature in winter and making snow drop pictures as well as playing with natural sensory materials.
Butterflies
This week we have been getting stuck into lots of messy play and linking it to our animal theme of the month which we are soon to finish as January draws to a close.
Next week we are really looking forward to starting our transport themed month! We decided on transport as our next theme through observing the Butterflies really enjoying playing with all the vehicles, especially the bug trucks! We will also be starting Valentine’s activities.
Bumblebees
This week we have just begun our theme of the month – animals! The brilliant Bumblebees have chosen the animals we have been focusing on this week and they have loved choosing which ones to paint and which ones to play with in our sand and water activities.
Next week we are looking forward to creating a sensational sea life board and also a dinosaur land with different resources.
Dragonflies
The letter of the week was Ww, the number was 20, colour green and the shape was a crescent.
In Dragonflies this week we have been getting messy with lots of different materials. We have also been busy cooking and have made yummy chocolate chip cookies and delicious shortbread!
Next week we will be making scrummy scones and we will be exploring the world of dinosaurs as our book of the month is Harry and His Bucket of Dinosaurs Re-United!
