Ladybirds
We have had so much fun this week making our valentines cards and hearts – a really creative and rewarding week! We hope the mummies and daddies enjoy our labours of love! We have also had masses of messy play jelly fun this week too!
Next week we will be having fun exploring soft play and getting creative again painting lovely ladybirds.
Butterflies
We too have been having Valentine fun this week in Butterflies creating our Valentine’s cards and cooking delicious heart biscuits! We have also had lots of stimulating sensory play with foam, quick sand and moon sand – such enjoyment!
The focus for next week will be creating our Spring artwork and a suspected highlight will also be Crispie Cake cooking! We can’t wait!
Bumblebees
Valentine’s fun continued in Bumblebees this week as we finished off our Valentine hearts. We also had lots of fun with colour recognition by mixing paint as well as the joy of pancake painting on Tuesday!
We are really looking forward to making music next week and getting thoroughly involved in some dancing and movement. We will also be making delicious and nutritious fruit kebabs. Yummy….
Dragonflies
Our pre-schoolers have had a wonderfully varied week conducting floating and sinking experiments as well as exploring skeletons and making Chinese drums. We have also had lots of fun making Valentine’s cards, drawing pictures of our families and cooking pizzas, pancakes and biscuits!
Next week our science experiments continue with an exploration of dissolving and we will also be having fun finding hidden animals in jelly! We are looking forward to making some tasty marmite and cheese spin wheels as well as planting some chives. Vegetable printing, making paper aeroplanes and having a role play tea party are also on the agenda. Friday families – we will be having a PE lesson on this day so please bring in a suitable PE kit for your child to wear (can be anything comfortable you’re happy for them to wear for sports)
In other news…
Just a reminder that it is half term next week (15th – 19th Feb) so if you are term-time only please don’t bring your child to nursery.
